It takes a lot of experiences and moments for you to upgrade a relationship from a simple acquaintance, to a jolly friend, to a REAL BEST FRIEND. And it's really a big deal especially if you want to stay strong and always be together, like in my case, we are in a long-distance best friends relationship and we only catch up with each other around thrice a year (?) during our birthdays haha XD
For others who are also in this kind of situation, here are my 20 Ways to be the best friend you can be despite the distance and workload!
1.) NEVER EVER FORGET THEIR SPECIAL DAYS. Especially birthdays. If you can't give them a physical gift, the thought of remembering them could complete their day. Greet them!
2.) Poke them once in a while on FB.
3.) Congratulate them on every accomplishment they achieved!
5.) Prepare a very special gift during their birthdays!
6.) Share a YouTube video of the song you love so they can listen to it.
7.) Text them!
8.) Tag them on funny posts, especially those that only you can relate. Haha.
9.) Talk about your current crush. And their crushes too. Girl bonding.
10.) Or if they already have a boyfriend or still in a relationship, be there when they need advice.
11.) Write down notes of the things you want to share to them personally but you can't say online or via text so when you meet soon you have lots to talk about!
12.) Talk about your fandoms!
13.) Have a surprise visit!
14.) Go to their school sometimes!
15.) Hang-out with them once in a while.
16.) Never ever let them down.
17.) Visit their social networking accounts to catch up on them!
18.) And post on their walls. Even if they're just emoticons and hearts.
19.) Give them a surprise call!
20.) A real friend calls
With GoUnli20, it’s now easy to call without a need for a prefix and it’s just P20 for unli calls, 15mb of mobile surfing, and 20 texts to all networks! Kaya if you need a friend, don’t call me, I’ll call you!
So with that ways, you can make sure that you would stay strong as best friends!
Just don't forget, it's the thought that counts!
